Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad (IIT Palakkad) is an Institute of National Importance established in 2015 by the Government of India. It is located at Kanjikode, Palakkad, Kerala, in the foothills of the Western Ghats.
The institute began with just 120 students in July 2015 and has grown to more than 1,300 students. IIT Palakkad focuses on high-quality education, interdisciplinary research, innovation, entrepreneurship and industry collaboration.
