Admission Process
Admissions to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur are conducted through national-level entrance examinations and centralized counselling processes. The admission procedure varies according to the programme selected by the candidate.
For admission to the MBBS programme, candidates must qualify for the NEET-UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Eligible candidates participate in the centralized counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), where seats are allotted based on NEET-UG rank, candidate preferences, seat availability, and applicable reservation policies.
Admission to postgraduate medical programmes such as MD and MS is based on the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET), followed by centralized seat allocation conducted by AIIMS New Delhi.
For super-speciality programmes, including DM and M.Ch., candidates are generally required to qualify for the INI-SS entrance examination and participate in the applicable centralized seat allocation process.
Admissions to nursing, allied health sciences, postgraduate, doctoral, and other programmes are conducted according to the eligibility criteria, entrance examinations, and selection procedures specified in the official admission notifications issued by AIIMS Jodhpur or the respective examination authority.
After seat allotment, selected candidates must complete document verification, medical examination, fee payment, and reporting formalities within the prescribed deadlines to confirm their admission.
