VIT Admission Process (B.Tech)
Step 1: Check Eligibility
You must:
Pass Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
Meet the minimum marks required by VIT for your category and program.
Step 2: Register Online
Visit the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) admission portal.
Create an account using your email ID and mobile number.
Fill in your personal and academic details.
Upload the required documents and photograph.
Pay the application fee online.
Step 3: Appear for VITEEE
Admission to B.Tech is based on the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE).
The exam is computer-based and includes:
Mathematics/Biology
Physics
Chemistry
Aptitude
English
Step 4: Result and Rank
VIT announces the VITEEE results and assigns a rank based on your performance.
Your rank determines your eligibility for counselling and seat allocation.
Step 5: Counselling
Qualified candidates participate in online counselling:

Fill your preferred campuses and branches.
Seats are allotted based on your VITEEE rank, preferences, and seat availability.
Step 6: Pay Admission Fee
If you are allotted a seat:
Pay the required tuition fee within the deadline.

Important Points
There is no management quota for B.Tech admissions at VIT.
VITEEE is mandatory for B.Tech admission; JEE Main or SAT scores are not accepted instead of VITEEE for regular B.Tech admissions.
